Part one
A skills checklist
Check off what you can do and show how much experience you have with each skill. Show a skill once and AbleVerse matches it to the words employers search for, from cash handling to inventory to customer service.
For job seekers
Job boards were built on walls of text. Your AbleVerse profile works like a highlight reel: scroll it like social media, watch it like a story, and share it with one tap. And a person, not a program, matches you with work that fits.
AbleVerse is an accessible job platform that connects people with disabilities to jobs at competitive wages. You show what you can do with a visual profile, video, and demonstrated skills instead of a text resume. Employers describe the work itself: the schedule, the environment, and the skills it takes. Matching runs on fit.
If applying for jobs has ever felt like the forms were the point, this is the opposite. You show your skills. A person actually looks. And when a job comes to you, it comes with its pay range already on it, because every posting here carries one.
AbleVerse has not launched yet. The waitlist is open, and the first matches will be made by hand in Connecticut before the full platform opens.
Everything on this page describes the platform we are building and the rules it will run by from day one. No pretend users, no made up numbers. We would rather be honest than impressive.
Your profile
No resume required. Your profile is built to show your skills, not describe them.
Part one
Check off what you can do and show how much experience you have with each skill. Show a skill once and AbleVerse matches it to the words employers search for, from cash handling to inventory to customer service.
Part two
Introduce yourself with a short captioned video or a photo story. Employers meet a person, not a stack of paper. Add proof of your work: the display you built, the rush you handled, the certificate you earned.
Part three
A section in your own words: the setting where you do your best work, the schedule that fits your life, the way you like to get instructions. Write it yourself or build it with someone who supports you. It is shared only after you accept a match.
You decide what goes on your profile and what an employer sees. Nothing is shared without your OK.
Free for job seekers. Always. Employer memberships and sponsors fund the platform, so the person looking for work never pays a cent. One rule: job seekers never pay. Not now, not ever.
Who decides
Who decides who matches a job? People do. AbleVerse pairs candidates and roles on demonstrated skills and accommodation fit, and humans make every decision. AI on AbleVerse only removes barriers, like plain language help and interview preparation. It never screens anyone out.
That means no algorithm sets your profile aside, and no automated rejection ever lands in your inbox. A person reads your profile, a person finds the fit, and a person brings the role to you.
Step by step
Tell us who you are and we will add you to the list. Right now this is the whole first step, because the platform has not opened yet.
Record, upload, or build it with support. Take your time. There is no timer and nothing to get wrong.
When a role matches your skills and how you work best, we bring it to you. You see the job and its pay range up front, because every posting carries one.
You decide if you want the role, and the employer meets you through your profile. Both sides say yes before anything more is shared.
Once you accept a match, an accommodations conversation is offered as a standard part of every match. It is routine here, not a special request. What you share is always your choice. Then you start work.
