Free for job seekers. Always.

Terms of Use

The rules, in plain language.

These are the terms for using ableverse.org. We wrote them to be read, not to be skipped. If any part of this is unclear, email us and we will explain it in whatever way works for you.

What this site is today

This site is run by AbleVerse, Inc., a Connecticut nonstock corporation. Right now, ableverse.org is an information site with one form on it, the waitlist. There are no accounts, no job listings, no applications, and no matching happening here yet. Anything on this page labeled as a sample or a demo is exactly that: an illustration of what we are building, not a real person, a real employer, or an actual job.

What we do not promise

Joining the waitlist does not get you a job, an interview, or a place in line. It tells us you want to hear from us, and that is all it does today. AbleVerse is not your employer, and we are not acting as your agent or your representative. When the real platform launches, the terms for it will spell out exactly how it works, before you use it.

Using this site

Read it, share it, quote it, send it to anyone it might help. That is what it is for. What we ask you not to do: submit false information through the waitlist form, use the form or our email address to send spam or abuse, try to break, overload, or get into parts of the site that are not public, or scrape the site in a way that degrades it for other people.

What belongs to whom

The AbleVerse name, logo, and the writing and design on this site belong to AbleVerse. Please do not use our name or logo in a way that suggests we endorse you, partner with you, or vouch for you, unless we have said so in writing.

Anything you send us through the waitlist form stays yours. We use it only to reach you about AbleVerse, exactly as described in our privacy promise.

Links to other places

Some pages here link out to news articles, government resources, and other companies. We do not control those sites and we are not responsible for what they say or do. Linking to a company on our Companies doing the work page is not an endorsement of that company as an employer, and none of them pays us or partners with us. Linking to a story on our Stories that Inspire page is not a claim that we are involved with the people in it.

This is not legal advice

We link to resources about disability rights at work because they are useful, and we sometimes describe what the law requires. None of that is legal advice, and we are not your lawyer. For advice about your own situation, talk to a lawyer, to the Job Accommodation Network, or to your state's protection and advocacy agency.

Accessibility

We build to WCAG 2.2 AA and we treat an accessibility barrier as a bug, not a feature request. If any part of this site is hard or impossible for you to use, email hello@ableverse.org, tell us what happened and what you were using, and we will work on it. You do not need to know the technical words for it.

Accuracy, and getting things wrong

We check our facts and we link to sources so you can check them too. Even so, things go out of date and mistakes happen. This site is provided as it is, and we cannot promise it is complete or error free. If you find something wrong, tell us and we will correct it.

Limits

To the extent the law allows, AbleVerse is not liable for losses that come from using, or being unable to use, this website. This is a small informational site, and it should not be the only thing you rely on for an important decision about your job or your rights.

Changes to these terms

When this site grows into the real platform, these terms will grow with it, and the date at the bottom will change. We will not quietly rewrite them and hope nobody notices. If something material changes for people already on the waitlist, we will say so.

Where this applies

AbleVerse is based in Connecticut, in the United States, and these terms are governed by Connecticut law.

Talk to us

One address reaches a human: hello@ableverse.org. Questions about these terms, an accessibility problem, a correction, or a request to be removed from the waitlist all go to the same place.

Effective August 21, 2026. If these terms change, the change will be dated here.
